Another vital part of getting plugged in at Word of Life is our Life Development classes. These are adult education classes that meet at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings. They are supported by our Life Net small groups - as the name implies, these are small groups of church families who fellowship together on a regular basis. |
We want to make it easy for you to get acquainted and get plugged in to what is happening at Word of Life. Our steps are easy.
New to Word of Life? Want to meet the pastors, staff and key leaders? Join us on the first Sunday of each month for a "Newcomer Reception."
Don't feel disconnected! Come meet the staff at our Newcomer Reception.
We offer Membership classes several times throughout the year. For a schedule click here. The first step toward joining Word of Life is attending our Membership Orientation class. This is a three to four hour class. During this time you will be able to meet the staff and other key leaders, ask questions, and here the vision behind Word of Life.
We believe God has called us to a ministry that will reach the world and touch the entire family. Because of this, we want to make our vision, purpose and values clear to those who desire to join us in ministry. We believe church membership goes deeper than having your name on a church roll; for us membership is covenant partnership where a believer commits to discover his/her role in the local church and will use their talents, gifts, abilities and resources to help further the mission of the local church.

Life Seminars
We also conduct monthly LIFE Seminars (Leadership Institute For Excellence) for those involved in church ministries. During these times the vision and philosophy is reinforced, and practical, applicable instruction is given to build solid, quality leaders. We believe it is important to train and raise up leaders that have a passion for Christ and the church, and who are equipped for the tasks and duties they are assigned. We have completed our building program with the construct ion of a youth and children's facility. Along with the construction project we are engaged in an ongoing financial program to raise funds for our new facility; this campaign is called "Building For Life" because we are not just constructing a building, but we are building lives. Our BFL financial campaign began in August of 2004 with a three year commitment that will help us pay for the new facility in a 36 month period of time. To date we have raise over $400,000 toward our goals. For information on how you can contribute, click here.

If you would like to participate in this program contact our church office for a free brochure.
